Barrels and Sunsets

Today saw a bit of a bump in the swell for the North Shore. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to experience much of it as I was working all day after taking a very sick day yesterday. On that note, avoid the stomach flu. It’s the modern day plague. For real.

This morning Stephen and Becca headed down to Backdoor and snagged a few shots. They said it was solid overhead and there were spitting barrels. From the one barrel pic below, I can believe it.

This evening I managed to take a walk down to the point at Sunset for some fun photos. There were at least 25 people out at Sunset this evening!

We've seen this guy surfing a lot this week. The other day he saved another guy's board from washing into rocks. This is karma in action.
